COMM-111 Applied Television (1 Credit Hour)
Provides practical experience in working in the University television
production facility. The student must devote a minimum of four hours
per week outside of class to producing video projects. Classroom
instruction orients the student to video production and television
announcing principles.
Students are required to be enrolled in the COMM-111 Applied Television course to use the comprehensive UIndy TV digital and analog production facilities. The course is designed to allow students to develop and refine video production, writing, and television announcing skills through the production of broadcast-quality TV programming
The Applied TV course meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from
12:30p-1:50p.
